What This Policy Covers

This policy covers the collection, storage, and handling of information on spacebarclicker.lol. The site has been running since 2026. It is dedicated to the game Spacebar Clicker, which plays on the homepage, alongside a small selection of related titles in 1 category: Clicker.

The games listed here run directly in a web browser without requiring file downloads, external plugins, or account registration. We do not develop, build, or publish these games; they are embedded from third-party providers. When titles stop functioning properly, they are deactivated.

This policy explains what our own server logs and forms record, as well as how third-party services—such as embedded game providers, traffic measurement tools, and advertising systems—interact with your browser when you access pages on this site.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you open a page on this site, our server records first-party visit information. Each recorded page view includes the requested URL path, the page type, the specific game identifier if one is present, a device classification, the referring host name, and a timestamp. The referring host records the origin site, but never the full referring URL. This first-party page view data is not shared with or received by any third party.

To count unique daily visitors without tracking people across days, the site uses an internal counter. This counter generates a hash combining a secret value, the calendar date, your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. Because the date is part of this calculation, the hash changes every day, meaning a visitor cannot be linked from one day to the next. Your actual IP address is not stored in any form within this visitor counter.

When a visitor clicks to like or favourite a game, the server stores that visitor's IP address. This is stored so the system does not count the same like or favourite action more than once from the same network address.

Information You Send Us

If you submit a message through the contact form, our system stores the details you enter: your name, email address, subject line, and message body. Contact messages are readable by site administrators and are kept until they are manually deleted. Alongside these message fields, the system stores your IP address and browser user-agent string. These network details are used to rate-limit contact submissions to 3 per hour and to block abusive senders.

Every game page also carries a report form. When you submit a report, the system records the reason selected from a fixed list (which includes copyright concerns), your written description, a timestamp, and your IP address. An email address is stored only if you choose to provide one. The IP address limits reports to 3 per item per address each day. Reports are stored with an administrative status showing whether they are reviewed, resolved, or dismissed, logging which administrator handled the submission and when.

Comments You Post

Visitors can post comments on game pages. When you submit a comment, the site stores the commenter name you enter, your comment text, and an optional email address if you decide to provide one.

Along with the text you enter, the server stores your IP address and browser user-agent string. Comments are not removed on an automated schedule. A comment remains stored on the server until it is removed, and all comments associated with a game are deleted if that game is removed from the site.

Search Queries

When you use the on-site search feature to find games, the query is recorded in internal server logs. Each search log entry includes the search text entered, the browser user-agent string, the referring page, and your current session identifier.

Your IP address is also processed for these search log entries, but it is stored solely as an irreversible cryptographic hash. It is never stored in readable form in search logs, preventing the raw IP address from being retrieved from those search records.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies and similar browser technologies are used on this site for essential site functions. When you browse the pages, the site sets its own first-party session cookie so your visit holds together across page transitions. This session cookie is restricted to HTTP requests, is transmitted over an HTTPS connection where available, expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and has its identifier replaced every 30 minutes.

In addition to our first-party session cookie, third-party services operating on the site may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device.
