This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled on https://spacebarclicker.lol. It describes what is recorded when you visit the site, submit messages or comments, and play browser games embedded here.
The document applies to all visitors. We describe data practices plainly so that readers of all ages, including younger players and parents, can understand what happens when using the site.
What This Policy Covers
This policy covers the collection, storage, and handling of information on spacebarclicker.lol. The site has been running since 2026. It is dedicated to the game Spacebar Clicker, which plays on the homepage, alongside a small selection of related titles in 1 category: Clicker.
The games listed here run directly in a web browser without requiring file downloads, external plugins, or account registration. We do not develop, build, or publish these games; they are embedded from third-party providers. When titles stop functioning properly, they are deactivated.
This policy explains what our own server logs and forms record, as well as how third-party services—such as embedded game providers, traffic measurement tools, and advertising systems—interact with your browser when you access pages on this site.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you open a page on this site, our server records first-party visit information. Each recorded page view includes the requested URL path, the page type, the specific game identifier if one is present, a device classification, the referring host name, and a timestamp. The referring host records the origin site, but never the full referring URL. This first-party page view data is not shared with or received by any third party.
To count unique daily visitors without tracking people across days, the site uses an internal counter. This counter generates a hash combining a secret value, the calendar date, your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. Because the date is part of this calculation, the hash changes every day, meaning a visitor cannot be linked from one day to the next. Your actual IP address is not stored in any form within this visitor counter.
When a visitor clicks to like or favourite a game, the server stores that visitor's IP address. This is stored so the system does not count the same like or favourite action more than once from the same network address.
Information You Send Us
If you submit a message through the contact form, our system stores the details you enter: your name, email address, subject line, and message body. Contact messages are readable by site administrators and are kept until they are manually deleted. Alongside these message fields, the system stores your IP address and browser user-agent string. These network details are used to rate-limit contact submissions to 3 per hour and to block abusive senders.
Every game page also carries a report form. When you submit a report, the system records the reason selected from a fixed list (which includes copyright concerns), your written description, a timestamp, and your IP address. An email address is stored only if you choose to provide one. The IP address limits reports to 3 per item per address each day. Reports are stored with an administrative status showing whether they are reviewed, resolved, or dismissed, logging which administrator handled the submission and when.
Comments You Post
Visitors can post comments on game pages. When you submit a comment, the site stores the commenter name you enter, your comment text, and an optional email address if you decide to provide one.
Along with the text you enter, the server stores your IP address and browser user-agent string. Comments are not removed on an automated schedule. A comment remains stored on the server until it is removed, and all comments associated with a game are deleted if that game is removed from the site.
Search Queries
When you use the on-site search feature to find games, the query is recorded in internal server logs. Each search log entry includes the search text entered, the browser user-agent string, the referring page, and your current session identifier.
Your IP address is also processed for these search log entries, but it is stored solely as an irreversible cryptographic hash. It is never stored in readable form in search logs, preventing the raw IP address from being retrieved from those search records.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies and similar browser technologies are used on this site for essential site functions. When you browse the pages, the site sets its own first-party session cookie so your visit holds together across page transitions. This session cookie is restricted to HTTP requests, is transmitted over an HTTPS connection where available, expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and has its identifier replaced every 30 minutes.
In addition to our first-party session cookie, third-party services operating on the site may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device. Embedded third-party games operate in frames and may place their own cookies. If traffic measurement or advertising features are active, those external services may also set identifiers subject to their own separate policies.
You can manage or block cookies through your web browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view existing cookies, clear stored storage, or reject cookies entirely. Note that some site features, advertisements, analytics or embedded games may behave differently when browser storage or third-party scripts are restricted.
Analytics
This site may use Google Analytics to measure visitor traffic across our pages. When enabled, Google Analytics evaluates aggregate usage patterns to help understand how the site is accessed.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to measure this traffic. Any data collected by Google Analytics is handled under Google's own privacy policies and terms. You can review Google's published privacy policies to learn how their systems process analytics information and what controls they offer to visitors.
Advertising
This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Advertising revenue helps support the costs of operating the website and hosting browser titles.
When Google AdSense is active, Google may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver advertisements to visitors. These technologies operate under Google's own privacy policies and technical systems. This site does not configure, determine, or inspect whether specific advertisements delivered to a visitor are personalised or non-personalised, as ad selection is handled by Google according to its own operational policies and user settings.
Visitors who wish to inspect or adjust their advertising preferences may do so through Google's account settings and advertising controls. You can also manage identifiers using browser preferences or industry-standard opt-out tools provided by digital advertising associations.
Third-Party Games and Embedded Content
The games available to play on this site are embedded inside iframes from external third-party providers. This site lists and embeds these titles, but it did not build, develop, or publish any of the games.
Because games load directly from third-party servers into your browser, those external providers receive your IP address as part of standard web communication. These providers also set and read their own cookies and local browser storage. We do not control the scripts, data storage, or network activity of these third-party game frames.
If you have questions about how a particular game provider handles network information, IP addresses, or browser storage, you should refer directly to the privacy notices provided by that specific game host. When a game stops working, it is deactivated on our site.
Children’s Privacy
Our audience includes school-age children who visit to play Spacebar Clicker and related clicker games. Because children use this site, personal information is treated with extra care.
Nothing this site collects is used to build an advertising profile of a child. Playing games does not require registering an account, providing an email, or creating a profile. Parents and guardians who have questions about messages, comments, or data submitted by a child can contact us to request its removal.
How Long We Keep Data
Different types of data are retained according to specific schedules. Raw page-view records are deleted after 3 days; only daily aggregate totals are kept beyond that point. Session identifiers expire after 30 minutes of inactivity and are replaced every 30 minutes.
Contact form submissions are kept until manually deleted by site administrators. Game problem reports and copyright notices remain stored alongside their review status and resolution history. Public comments stay on the site until removed, and all comments posted on a game are deleted whenever that game is removed.
Your Rights and Choices
You have options regarding the information you share and how your browser interacts with spacebarclicker.lol. Playing games on this site never requires creating an account, logging in, or storing passwords.
You can decide whether to provide an email address when submitting a game report or leaving a public comment, as that field is optional. If you previously submitted a comment, a contact form message, or a game report and wish to have it deleted, you can submit a request to the operator.
You also control your device's browser settings. You can clear your browser storage, delete cookies, or set rules for handling cookies and third-party scripts. Furthermore, you can review privacy settings provided by third-party services such as Google to adjust ad preferences or traffic measurement choices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our site practices, technical operations, or service integrations. Any revised version will be published directly on this page. Visitors are encouraged to review this page periodically to remain informed about what information is collected and how it is handled.
